A Day in the Moonlight was an original play that was based off the play The Romantics, but done in the style of a Marx Brothers film.

Since all the Marx Brothers were black & white, the concept was to make the play appear as a black & white film. To accomplish this, the entire color palette for the costumes and set were based on blacks, whites, and shades of grays.

For the lighting, I used colors that would keep the black & white feel to the show.
